Zijie entered the local entertainment industry when he was just a fresh-faced 13-year-old, taking on a role in Mediacorp’s prime time Chinese drama My School Daze(2009). He made his breakthrough in 2014, capturing the attention of viewers with his role – Hu Jia/Zhang Jia, the teenage version of Shaun Chen in Channel 8’s year-end blockbuster production The Journey: Tumultuous Times.

Since then, Zijie has been cast in supporting roles in various Channel 8 dramas such as C.L.I.F 4(2016), While We Are Young(2018), 118 Reunion(2018) and Say Cheese(2018). He has also appeared in Toggle Originals series 2589 Days Apart(2017) and @StarCrossed (2018).

Zijie was nominated for the Best Newcomer Awardfor 2018 Star Awards for his outstanding performance in the drama serial While We Are Young.

Well-versed in martial arts, Zijie has scored himself a role in Channel 8’s upcoming action drama, The Good Fight, which is slated to air in the middle of 2019.
